Installation/ Memebership Dinner - 09/22/2015

The Paris Kiwains Club hosted their annual Officer Installation and Memebership Dinner on 9/22/2105. The guest of honor was incoming Texas/Oklahoma District Governor Erby Eikner. The new officers for 2015-2016 are: Don Dickerson, president; Sally Wright, president elect; Rick Easterwood, vice president; Peggy Hawkes, secretary; Karen McDowell, treasurer; and Claudia McKinney, past president.


Zeller Fellowships - 09/22/2015

The Paris Kiwanis Club awarded 18 Walter Zeller fellowships to members on 9/22/2015 as a part of the Membership Dinner. Each fellowship represents a contribution of $1250 to The Eliminate Project. The Eliminate Project is working toward eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus world wide. The cost of the shot is $1.80, each Zeller saves 690 lives.

Hixson Fellowships - 09/22/2015

The Paris Kiwanis Club awarded five George Hixson Fellowships to members at the Installation/Memership Dinner on 9/22/2015. The Hixson Fellowship represents a $1000 donation to the Kiwanis International Foundation. This year those donations were directed to The Elimate Project, each donation saves 555 lives.

Paris Kiwanis post Flags for Labor Day - 09/07/2015

The Paris Kiwanis Club will post flags in honor of Labor Day, September 7th 2015. The flags will remain posted thru the week to honor 9/11 on Friday.

Layperson of the Year - 06/03/2015

The Kiwanis Club of Paris is proud to honor David Nichols as it's Layperson of the Year for 2015. David is active in the club, his church, the VFW, and the community. We are very proud of him and all that he does to represent himself and Kiwanis.

There will be a prayer breakfast on Saturday June 20th at Calvary United Methodist Church at 8:00 AM to honor David. Cost is $5.00.
